Da Mario Karon

A lovely Italian restaurant located on the main road of Karon Beach. It has good veg options also. We went there a couple of times during our stay and had Margherita pizza, vegetarian pizza and pasta. All were delicious.

Amazing Italian restaurant, the staff was super friendly, the food came out quick and was on point, the Italian owner helps out on the floor. We were really impressed with the authenticity and quality of the food. We will definitely come back, not just in this holiday

We called in to Da Mario Karon on a rainy Phuket afternoon and were not disappointed with our decision. The restaurant is situated right across from the beach and regardless of the rain we still appreciated the beauty of the beach and sea beyond. The restaurant itself has a very cosy, authentic Italian feel about it. Both Western and Thai foods are on the menu. We opted for spaghetti carbonara and a large pizza, half ham and pineapple the other half spicy salami, along with a serving of fries. The pasta was cooked to perfection and the sauce was deliciously creamy. The pizza was excellent, one of the best we had in a while. Whilst waiting for the rain to go away we had a few cold Singha beers. The two hours plus we spent in Da Mario was very enjoyable with very attentive, but not overbearing, staff taking good care of us. Our bill came to around 1,000 baht which we considered excellent value, factoring in the quality of food and beach front location. Will definitely return on our next trip to Phuket, we highly recommend Da Mario Karon.

Its an italian place but i ordered thai food and they did an amazing job!I ordered chicken khao soi...i highly recommend you try it!Ther service was ok as it was really busy but good overall.I also ordered mojito, it was really refreshing but not sure if it had any alcohol.They do serve table water and ita 40thb. You cannot bring the bottle out with you if you dont finish. So finish the bottle.

I am italian and I use to go Da Mario in Karon usually for lunch. Very nice food, affordable prices, familiar environment and nice and gentle service and management by Sandro (now also my friend). I love the food here especially Ravioli, Tuna Salads, lasagna and pane carasau.

first meal after reaching Phuket! found this restaurant nearby with my stay. taste was actually great especially their basil leaves beef!

Awesome and authentic pizza! The price is definitely on the higher range compared with local Thai food but if you ever have craving for pizza, this is the place to go when you are in Karon!
